Large lunch hall kind of space in dowtown Fairfax, great for meeting friends and having a beer or they do have a few mixed drinks. It is super loud and they have a few TV's. I find the beer and the food is ok, and to me over priced. We still come here for the ambience and convenience but for a brewery Bunneyman in Burke is better.

Met up with some friends for a few drinks after work. This place was in the middle so we tried it out. Service was friendly and fast food was hot and prepared well. And the beer was really really good I tried the pineapple kooks my friend had the big papi and both were really good.

Incredible beers and ambience, and great food too! We love their Papichulo and Between Sets ipas and the Pool Noodle I believe lager, and when they have it their Italian-inspired pilsner is fantastic too. Their smash burgers are shockingly good, and the new chicken tenders have been fantastic addition crispy and well cooked. We’ve always enjoyed their wings and garlic fries too. We were very pleasantly surprised and stoked to see their Papi Chulo offered at a bar in DC recently, really happy to see them expanding and growing!

Came with some friends for after work get together. I didn’t try any of the beer selection but my friends did and were impressed. There is a large selection. The pizzas looked delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my boardwalk fried and Caesar wrap. Would come back again, very chill vibe and outdoor seating. Service staff were great!

Commonwealth is my home away from home. Excellent, kind, and consistent staff are the stars here. I really want to highlight their morning/midday hours— they open for coffee at 8am every day and probably have one of the best cups of black coffee in old town (sorry de clieu). Their wifi is great. They also just installed a bunch more outlets all over to help folks who want to charge laptops. Of course their beer is great, especially the rotating selection of IPAs, lagers, and sours. Finally, I need to mention their patio— it is off the charts for Old Town Fairfax. If you want to meet with friends outside here, it is the place to go. Can’t wait for the City to undertake some traffic pattern changes so the street is a bit calmer.
